Here at Heron Financial we truly understand the pressures and struggles each and every single one of us are currently experiencing. Before we delve into how we’re helping our customers through mortgage advice and support we’d just like to remind you of something important.

We’re business as usual;
Continuing to safely operate, we’re still here to help you with mortgage applications and insurance requests, seven days a week. Customers actually now have the option to check the status of their applications 24 hours a day but we’ll get into this shortly. If deadlines are looming and you’re feeling the strain make sure to get in touch with us immediately. Remember, we’re here to help. Positive strides;
The mortgage and protection industry has not by any means stopped working. Our team continues to strive for positive outcomes and are working even harder ensuring successful mortgage applications. Despite the worldwide pandemic, house prices as of November 2020 increased by 7.6% over the year. This growth is the highest it’s been since June 2016. Regionally, London, Yorkshire and the Humber are the most expensive areas to reside with the east proving the cheapest.
But that’s not all….
Plenty of home buyers continue to take advantage of moving due to the stamp duty holiday still in place. Effective since July 2020 the relief set by the government was done so in a bid to help boost the property market. Looking at the above statistics, it’s certainly been effective.
How are we helping?
In a bid to provide further support we have something wonderful to share with you. Whilst it’s true, there’s no substitution for face to face contact, we’re currently having to make the most of what we have. Lots of meetings are now happening every day via Zoom, Teams and Skype and we decided to take things one step further.

In moving with the times and by listening to client feedback we’ve created a modern, straightforward and useful tool making the process easier and quicker. Face to Face Meetings WILL be back!
COVID-19 will not last forever. We will begin to see small changes moving forwards and eventually be able to host in person meetings.
